In 2018, QUEST obtained Connecticut Community Foundation funding to conduct a needs assessment and a series of focus groups for the local LGBTQIA+ youth community.

The purpose of this inquiry was twofold:

  1. to gather data about the needs and experiences of the local LGBT community in the Greater Waterbury area to
  2. inform programming, services and resources that can best support this community.

In response to our findings, the Executive Committee has released our 2019 Action Plan, prioritizing identified action items from the needs assessment and 2018 community conversations based on urgency, resources and capacity.
